Carnival of Homeschooling is up now

HomeschoolBuzz hosts this week's Carnival of Homeschooling. Check out the randomly-generated images--are those a metaphor for the motley crew of homeschoolers?

Noted and noteworthy from the carnival: Denise at Let's Play Math talks about the need for elementary math teachers (classroom and homeschool) to really understand mathematics.

And Dewey's Treehouse is hosting the next one (January 16th)!

We are shamelessly begging for, wheedling for, encouraging, imploring submissions from Treehouse friends. Even if you've never submitted anything before. Deadline is Monday the 15th at 6 p.m. P.S.T. (that gives those of us further east an extra couple of hours). You can send your submissions here (scroll down and click on Submit Article).

P.S. Carnival of the Recipes is up here. They were trying to do an I-hate-to-cook theme, which sort of worked out (it ended up being a Love/Hate theme instead), but I understand that next week's host is also looking for I-hate-to-cook recipes. I don't hate to cook, but I do like easy recipes.
