So did you watch the eclipse of the moon last night?
If you're not sure what that is, MSN has animation here to show you what was happening.
And Brock and Bodie Thoene's blog has a devotional message about it as well. (Both links were pointed out by a non-blogging friend--thanks, Mrs. L!)

We were able to see the beginning before the clouds arrived. Too bad as the younger ones have never been awake enough to fully enjoy an eclipse.
Thanks for the links. It was neat to watch last night, for as long as we could. We would have watched it longer if either it hadn't been so cold or we could have found a vantage point to watch it from the warmth of inside. :)
Darn, I missed it, and it's not coming back until 2010 I hear! Hey, will you please come visit my list of 13 French books to read, I posted it today. Have you read any of them? Or do you have an outstanding one to add? It was so hard to pick just 13!!
Wow, what a great list--very eclectic! Mystery, food, and missions! I'm hoping to read A Year in Provence and Toujours Provence this year myself.
Alas, we saw it only for a brief moment at totality. The clouds had rolled in early yesterday, and stubbornly stayed until after the eclipse. Then, a hole in the storm gave us a bright full moon for about 30 minutes, post-eclipse, and then the clouds were back again, laden with snow. Too bad since the next one we'll see is in 2010.
