Oh, you pig

Using the bread machine so frequently over the last month has run us up a fairly hefty stinkin' big electric bill. The motor in it seems to be a pig on power.

Well, that does jam the home bread factory a bit.

Anybody else out there with a breadmaker? Do they all have the same problem?

I have not noticed that problem, but we only use about one loaf of bread a week. You must have been really using it a lot!

I don't know, I'm confused about this issue myself--I've been trying to research it online and a lot of people seem to think that breadmakers are actually quite low on energy. Mr. Fixit and I will have to figure out if it's actually the breadmaker or if it's something else going on like a sudden general jump in power costs.
