Can you share more details on these?

Which King Arthur? Is Canada's story by HE Marshall?

I think we're making this our last full week, since Biggest Brother will be home from college this weekend for Christmas break.

101 Famous Poems: we are reading through this book together, about one poem a day. In the New Year I may also assign copywork or memory work from those poems.

Bible stories: We have been reading through parts of Through the Bible by Theodora Wilson-Wilson, which does a good job of combining the books of prophecy with stories of the last kings of Israel and Judah--that's why we're using it this year.

Mr. Pipes: the second book in the Mr. Pipes series by Douglas Bond, Mr. Pipes and Psalms and Hymns of the Reformation. You get some geography, some world and church history, some music, and a story along with it. Tim's Mom, we can email about these if you want and I'll tell you more about our experience with them.

King Arthur: Howard Pyle's, because that's what we have.

Canada's Story: yes, Marshall's book. We use this for the New France period, then switch to another book.

Mathletics: this is something we're reviewing for the Review Crew. I'll be posting a review of it soon, but we can email about it as well if you want to know more.

Say hi to Biggest Brother for us!
